Danielle Van Lear is a Partner and Certified Public Accountant who has worked for Rollins Financial since 2004.  With past experience spanning all aspects of accounting from taxation to auditing, Danielle now oversees the taxation department of the firm.

Danielle’s CPA license is complimented by designations as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).  Both of these designations assist her in providing clients with a unique perspective and overall “big-picture” tax and financial planning guidance.  Her PFS designation is especially useful in assisting to establish and maintain a cohesive financial environment with clients who utilize both the tax and investment advisory services of the firm.  She enjoys building and fostering relationships with the firm’s clients.

Danielle attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Mathematics in 1996.  She taught mathematics for 5 years to children in both middle and high school before leaving the school system to pursue her Master’s degree.  She earned her MBA concentrated in finance from Georgia State University.  After working in the accounting industry for a few years, she fulfilled the necessary accounting education requirements and passed the CPA exam.  It was a few years later that she received her PFS and CGMA designations.

Danielle and her husband, Robert Schultz, also a Partner of Rollins Financial, live in North Buckhead with their two children, Caroline and Reid.  As a family, they are members of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Ansley Golf Club, Intown Golf Club and Fernbank.  When Danielle is not cheering for her children a soccer game, swim meet or volleyball match, Danielle enjoys spending time with her parents, siblings and their families, who also live in Buckhead.  She also enjoys traveling with her friends and family.
