Danielle Van Lear is a Partner and Certified Public Accountant who has worked at Rollins since 2004.  Danielle now oversees the firm’s taxation department, but has experience in all aspects of accounting.  While her focus is on tax services, she still plays a key role in performing and finalizing attestation and assurance engagements.

Danielle’s CPA license is complemented by designations as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).  Both of these designations assist her in providing clients with a unique perspective and overall “big-picture” tax and financial planning guidance.  Her PFS designation is especially useful in establishing and maintaining a cohesive financial environment for people who are clients of both RVL and its sister financial advisement firm, Rollins Financial.  She enjoys building and fostering relationships with the firm’s clients.

Danielle attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and Mathematics in 1996.  She was a middle and high school math teacher for five years before leaving to pursue her MBA with a concentration in finance from Georgia State University.  She is a member of both the AICPA and GSCPA.

Danielle’s husband, Robert Schultz, is a partner of Rollins Financial.  They have a daughter named Caroline and a son named Reid.  They live in Peachtree Park, a beautiful neighborhood that’s a stone’s throw from the office.  They attend Christ the King Catholic Church and are members of the Atlanta Botanical Garden, the High Museum and the Buckhead Club.  Danielle enjoys spending time with her parents, siblings, and their families, who live in Midtown and Virginia-Highland.  She also enjoys traveling with her friends and family.
